Info Post
Mo bettah is a term used loosely used in Galveston, Texas to describe better than better.  I suppose it has roots in Jamaican or Gullah languages but I decided not to research it that far.

According to one internet search it originates in Hawaii:

"Mo Bettah"

4. mo bettah (mow bedder) adjective: A contemporary pidgin self-descriptive term meaning excellent, outstanding, the best. Often used for comparison of ideas, objects, or places, as in "Dis beach mo bettah." Sometimes spelled "moah bettah."  Found at www.frommers.com.

Yaga's has decided to stake a claim on it to describe the food they serve.  That is enough of an explanation for me.

Yaga's Cafe and Bar, located at 2314 Strand, wrote the book on mo' bettah food and vibes on Galveston Island.

My deck is now mo bettah.  The TBHWs now has a 32 x 8 ft deck.  Of course, 16 x 8 was enough, but 32 is mo bettah!  I love my new deck.  It makes the stairs a little less wobbly, way mo bettah!  The mosquitos in the grass don't immediately wake up and attack my ankles, way mo bettah!

Now...on to the embellishment!  Mo, mo bettah!
