Info Post
I am attending a Treasure Mapping Workshop on Saturday.  This exercise is supposed to help us focus on
what we want to bring into our lives via the abundant Universe. You bring photos cut from magazines, quotes, and things you will glue onto a board.  It may sound as if I am mocking, but I am not.  I have no doubt this type of activity works.

Everything starts with a single thought.  Most of the articles I write start with an odd thought, something I notice or something funny.  I am on the hunt this week for those random thoughts...what do I really want to come into my life?  This is a very big task and I am unsure if six days is enough time.  I want a lot!

I want to write. I want to paint.  I love the work I do, so it certainly has a place on the board.  I want to travel.  I want to spend time with family.  I want to chill.  I want everything around me to be beautiful.  I want to be my own version of Martha Stewart.  I want to finish the renovations on the house, then I want to sell the damn thing.  I want to live at the beach. I want to learn Spanish as well as the current French I am concentrating on. I want red boots. I exhaust myself with everything on this list.

It is then that I realize I need balance.  Just like that my board is born. I can have it all just not at the same time! Duh? (I love doing that to my grands before they do it to me)  I take a 2 x 2 foot board and divide
it into a grid of 4.  In the middle I put a small frame that has a quote in it...Today find the beauty in balance.

So I search for balance as I add things to my board.  It is still 50% vacant but the other 50% is a wowser!

I am actually finishing this and posting it well after the Treasure Mapping (which by they way, I could not
attend because of an upset at work) class.  I regret I couldn't be there to see how other people might express their wishes and wants but that is OK.  I think I got what I was supposed to get...balance, and red boots!
