Info Post
Here step by step is the mantle,  in the end, I spent about $50.00 creating it.  The amount of fun I had...priceless.  (couldn't resist the commercial cliche)

Finished! I have not been this ready for a holiday since I was a stay at home mom...sigh!

Blank slate.

First additions, spooky net cloth and the house.  Measured to sit center.

Two of the black towers, with uplights in them.

Hats perched on silver hat stands now,  candlesticks later.

More deets, skull, old books, bats flying around in a decorative jar, shells and feathers.

My one big splurge was the bat jar,  but I loved it when I saw it in a http://www.marthastewart.com/ display on the bat package.

There are still plenty of spaces at this point to fill in.  I am giving myself a week end in Charleston to see a new grandbaby.  Some new inspiration just might come my way...what would you add?
